A Bicolor checkered Sari that is handwoven alternately with cotton and silk in a bicolor scheme. As Calico believes that having craftsmen participate in the design process will enrich the meaning of making things by hand together. The basic colors for the color scheme are decided by Calico, and the weavers were entrusted with changing the color every 50cm.
Bicolor Sari Checks is a light weight cotton and silk blend fabric. It comes in two colors, pink and blue. The difference in materials creates a beautiful contrast on the fabric, the sheerness of fine cotton and the luster of silk. It has a delicate and sheen on the surface. Compared to Gingham Checks fabric, Bicolor Sari Checks has higher silk blend therefore is more bright and has a lustrous shine. You can feel the cooling silkiness and lightness of the fabric on the skin. Great for spring summer clothing.
