経糸に約30カウント、緯糸に約33カウントの太さのアンバーチャルカ糸で織り上げた、しなやかなカディコットン。うっすらカディと比べると50％ほど重量が大きいです。夏場でも着用できる涼やかさと手紡ぎ・手織りの布らしい風情、適度な厚みを兼ね備えています。
多くのインド国内市場では、緯糸のみ手紡ぎのもの、あるいはヴィレッジミルと呼ばれる力織機で織られているものもカディとされることがありますが、CALICOのカディは原則経緯手紡ぎ（経糸も緯糸も手紡ぎ）です。

Natural Dyed Shikkuri Khadi Cotton is woven with ambar charka yarn with a thickness of approximately 30 thread counts for the warp and approximately 22 thread counts for the weft. It is about 50% heavier than a light khadi.
There are 4 natural dyed colors, chai, myrobalan brown, turmeric yellow and madder.
Each fabric is dyed naturally with local plants. For natural dyed fabric, the fabric age more beautifully with each use. Natural dyed Shikkuri Khadi is a medium weight fabric that is firm in structure. It feels substantially strong as a fabric and gets better and softer after each wash. It reveals the beauty of the uneven texture characteristic of a handspun and handwoven fabric. When you run through the fabric with your hand, you can feel the knots of the connecting yarns. As compared to Shikkuri Khadi, Natural dyed Shikkuri Khadi fluctuation of yarn is more distinctive therefore is more textured and it is also has a looser weave. The texture and selvedge of the fabric is more uneven which gives it more characteristic. The uneven yarns makes it more breathable and cooling. Great for summer and winter clothing or homewares like coaster, table mat or for interior curtain too.
In many Indian domestic markets, Khadi fabric may be using only handspun weft or woven by a power loom called a village mill. But Calico Khadi is both handspun and handwoven.
